Izumi Sushi (和泉寿司）| Shibuya
It's 5 min walk from Shibuya station, and this is just local sushi joint that you will see some random locals dining at the place. Some could be just by himself eating at the counter talking to chef how his day was. I do recommend sitting at the counter if you can. Here is something I always do at sushi restaurant and most of people who like to drink. First, order drink and seasonal sashimi. Enjoy the drink and appetizer sashimi, if you like some other appetizers such as some grilled fish, you can also do that. Maybe drink a few, enjoy the conversation. Enjoy that for a while, then you order sushi with miso soup. Then, order green tea to finish. That's it! That's so Japanese businessman!! I also heard you are supposed to order from the light fish to darker meaty fish to make sure your palette is keen. Izumi sushi is a nice place to enjoy the local dining, super traditional every day sushi place. Also, English menu is available.
