Master Pizza

I just love pizza. This pizza can be proud to whoever created pizza. is it Italia or America? I don’t even know but this pizza can be introduced as Japanese great pizza. Starting with the crust, it’s soft and tender like nice Japanese bread but then tomato sauce feels super fresh. It just feels so homemade and you can see chef is enjoying making the pizza and enjoys how customers are enjoying the pizza. There is only 2 kinds of pizza they offer at Azabu store, so you don’t need to think too hard to pick one. It’s a tiny place but if you like pizza, and don’t think Tokyo has pizza to offer, give a try to this.

Robot Restaurant (ロボットレストラン)

The entertainment

If you have never been to this, it’s worth to watch once. This is very much the tourist spot but even myself as Japanese, I am glad I saw this once. You go in there and totally sees the difference culture, different world, different vision. I don’t even think it’s so Japanese but it’s an entertainment. Don’t go there to eat something. Eat before but go out for food after. You can just have a drink and enjoy the show. Sorry, I don’t even know how to describe this but mix of robot and people are acting and dancing with the music to create this weird culture. It nothing like Disneyland’s show or anything you have seen in the musical. You can get the ticket thru online or I actually bought a ticket at  Harajuku information center.

Kinokuniya Bookstore (紀伊国屋)

Just a great book store.

This bookstore has been open since 1927. My mom always told me to just go Kinokuniya all the time whenever I need to find some books when I was a kid. It’s been around long time and I always thought this store has everything you need. I still love spending time in this book store just because I find something and I get inspired. They have from manga, magazine, text book, foreign books to DVDs. Japanese magazines are so fun and so much information always, also so many niche kind of magazines as well. The foreign books are also available.

Afuri (阿夫利 原宿)

Afuri ramen in Harajuku. The spirit of this Afuri ramen started from the Mount Afuri in Kanagawa Prefecture. The natural water from the mountain is the key ingredient to the fine and delicate broth of Afuri ramen. The Yuzu Shio Ramen is their signature ramen and you can see why the broth is their thing! And the hand made thin noodle works well with this soup! Writing it makes me hungry already! It usually is a line but if you go outside of the Busy lunch time, wait is not too bad.
