Rengatei (煉瓦亭)| Ginza

Traditional Japanese Western foods

We say "YoShoku" all the time for this kind of food. Basically, it's Japanese food influenced by western food. It's started around late 1800's. This restaurant has been around for a long time as well and I think they serve the best pork cutw-let (tonkatsu) for me. I never experienced such a cutlet that you can cut easily, it’s just thick enough, but not too thick…and so soft and juicy.. Also, the pork cutlet sandwich is awesome. we call it Katsu-sando, and you can get it at convenient store as well, but restaurant quality is so good. Feeling the late 1800 Japan and eat some delicious Japanese x western food. I know you sometimes need a rest from the Japanese seafood and all that…
